It is true that little or no progress can be made in life whilst suffering from the wounds and injuries which divorce brings. The afflicted need to be restored as soon as possible 

It is less problematic for a surgeon to repair a severely injured body than to restore the destruction which divorce inflicts in every dimension of the lives of those affected. Divorce is comprehensive because it leaves no area of life unharmed.

 Damage spreads to intellect, emotion as well as the physical body. It washes over into the workplace giving birth to problems with children, family, and friends whilst affecting the financial and social dimensions of life. Ripple effects often continue into the next generation and further.

The problem

There are divorce recovery courses which are presented with good results but the problem is one of time. These courses are normally conducted over a period of time, for example once per week over a three or four month period. Many people drop out because of this simply because they do not feel that the progress is quick enough.

       The Method

The “BIG FIVE” ruthless method against divorce cuts deep and clean bringing wholeness to the wounded so they can be redeployed into society as valuable assets instead of remaining emotional cripples. 

44 Magnum hours

A quick and effective one weekend accelerated learning experience!

Victims of divorce gather together for a week-end in the countryside. There are no distractions in this tranquil atmosphere where a captured audience can focus to build hope for the future.

Unlike any other program

In excess of 20 hours of intensive teaching, lecturing and interaction is packed into a single week-end. Five teaching sessions each named after one of the “Big 5” are presented during this time. Those suffering from the effects of divorce normally attend a one hour weekly session for four months but the “Big 5” covers this over one week-end with ongoing interaction afterwards. Support groups are formed over the weekend to assist participants with any future difficulties through encouragement, motivation and friendship.

The program is balanced with free time for reflection and rest. Participants are encouraged to share their burdens and establish “buddy systems” which can be activated after the course to support and encourage one another. Much emphasis is placed on this system for it gives birth to an ongoing pool of help which can reach other sufferers in time to come.

 The approach is double-sided with a loaded dice. Side one offers wholeness to the sufferer whilst side two reveals the whole sufferer going forth to assist other injured people with the same help he or she received. It is truly a receiving and a giving.

The power

Only God is able to heal broken hearts. He did this for Jerome Dempsey and countless others and will continue to restore for this is His nature. A doctor can clean and stitch a wound but cannot cause the flesh to grow together, the same is true of divorce for teachers can explain and pinpoint problem areas but possess no power to effect the healing of broken hearts.

The Venue

 

Waverley Hills Conference Centre

 

 

Waverley Hills Conference Centre is situated in the Elands River Valley, approximately twenty minutes drive from Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage. This is not far but is indeed far enough to effect a separation between town and country.

The environment is different, relaxing and conducive to concentration whilst the facilities and pricing is excellent value for money making it the all-round first class choice. Eighty people can currently be accommodated.

The centre nestles among the hills. Bird song is heard whilst relaxation and restoration can be enjoyed. 

 

The food is excellent and the dining room is comfortable. Friendly staff and good service will make your stay enjoyable and something to remember.

CHANNELING

 After the convention participants who are agreeable will be channeled into churches and organizations for further help, motivation and encouragement. Follow-up will be conducted by Jerome Dempsey Ministries.

 FUTURE GET- TOGETHERS

 This is definitely possible and a picnic or something similar will be used so that feedback can be given and received to further encourage one another. Participants become supportive of one another and this leads to further outreach to people in like circumstances. The strategy is always to bring restoration to people so that they may carry the same over to others who are also in need of restoration.
